Anna Ross Davies's new show centre in Wiltshire

International dressage rider and regular British team member Anna Ross Davies and her team at Altogether Equestrian have taken over the lease of the equestrian facilities at the beautiful and historic grounds of Cholderton House near Salisbury in Wiltshire. The facilities include a 70 x 25 m size indoor school and a 30 x 50 m outdoor school.

Cholderton is undergoing a complete refurbishment and is being transformed into a premier dressage venue with affiliated and un-affiliated dressage shows planned. The unaffiliated shows are kicking off the competition calendar on 26th February and will be running every two weeks there after.

‘I’ve always wanted a training facility where I can combine a modern approach to training with an open, un-intimidating feel and Cholderton has just the right mix of both’ says Anna.

With so many different horses and riders coming to stay for lessons and take part in courses the opportunity just to sit and watch training is invaluable. A clubroom is being created and training courses are already up and running many of which culminate in a show so Anna can help the riders warm up and see them compete.

If people want to buy horses they can come and stay and really get to know the horse and see it over a few days. In the summer we have picnic tables in the walled garden around the outdoor and in the winter we have a heated gallery with seating for 200 in the indoor school.

‘I’m so pleased to finally have my own venue after so many years of running other peoples’ laughed Anna
