How do I place an advert?

Click on the "Advertise a Horse" or "New Classified Advert" links in the left hand menu and you will be taken to a create an advert page.  Simply complete the fields by following the instructions.  You will need to have your credit or debit card to hand for payments.

How do I pay for my advert?

When you have completed your advert you will be taken to a secure site where payment will be taken by HSBC.  Follow the on screen instructions on completion you will receive an email confirmation from Look4Horses.

I didn't have my card to hand, do I have to retype my advert?

No, providing you have entered your log in details and selected an advert package, your unfinished advert will be available from "Your Adverts"

I don’t have access to a computer can I still advertise?

Yes.  Paid for advertisements can be accepted over the telephone.  Contact us on 01380 730888 all your details, advert content and payment can be taken.  You will need to post any photos to us for uploading.

I need to make a change to my advert?

Log in using your email address and password and click on the "Your Adverts" link in the left hand menu.  You can modify any of your adverts there.

How do I know my advert has been accepted?

New adverts appear at the top of the listings and will gradually work their way down the listing as new horses are added.  You can boost your position by selecting either the feature advert or top spot option when placing your advert.

How long is my advert valid for?

All adverts are valid for 6 weeks at the end of that time you will be sent an email reminding you to renew or delete your horse/item if sold a week before it expires.

I have sold can I delete my listing?

Yes.  Log into the website and click on the "Your Adverts" link in the left hand menu.

I want to change the photograph I added to an advert, how can I do this?

Log into the website and click on the "Your Adverts" link in the left hand menu.  Now simply locate your advert and click on the "Edit Advert" link underneath it.  From here you can delete the photograph you no longer want and upload a new one.

How many free adverts can I have?

In September 2009 we implemented a new pricing structure that provides you a basic advert for free and purchase upgrades.  Because of this, you could technically have an unlimited number of free adverts.
